East Africa Business Council (EABC)
The East African Business Council (EABC) was established in 1997 as an apex body for business associations and corporates of the private sector. Before the membership was extended in 2007 to also include corporates and business associations from Burundi and Rwanda, it initially consisted of members from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Its objective is to support the interests of its members from the private sector in the integration process in the East African Community. The East African Business Council currently has 102 corporations and 54 associations as members.
