Key contacts Website

The Southern African Railways Associations (SARA) is an association of railway companies in the SADC region, established in 1996 as a not for profit organisation, in response to increasing road competition. Apart from this, SARA aims to promote interconnectivity and cross border operability of railways for regional and continental rail network connectivity in Southern Africa. Apart from 15 railway companies in SADC, members are also allied to railway industry and actors with vested interest in the railway industry.
